Cathedral City resident Sandy McKelvey moved to the valley from San Jose seven years ago, bringing with her knowledge in upholstery and carpet cleaning.

It wasn't until she was cleaning her own RV, however, that she realized she could make money doing so — especially with the number of part-time residents in the Coachella Valley who travel in RVs.
