CFI Board Member Rick Lewis announces that it is election time again for the open positions of officers and directors, and any CFI member in good standing is eligible to hold office as a chapter director in the organization. Additionally, the CFI Board of Directors is composed of representatives from each chapter, as determined by the number of members in each respective chapter.

In this year’s election, we need to elect a Secretary-Treasurer and four (4) Chapter Directors. The CFI Nominating Committee presents nominations for each open position, and this notice presents the Official Slate of Candidates for 2010-2011. Names may be added to the “official” slate by any member, by petition. If you are interested in submitting a petition, please contact the CFI Office for information and procedure.

Nominees for officer positions must have been elected as Board of Director members for one (1) year to be eligible. Petitions for chapter director are gladly accepted, and CFI encourages those who would like to participate on the Board of Directors.

Nomination petitions for additional candidates can be accepted only until August 15, after which ballots for this election will be immediately distributed. All members will vote for officer positions, while individual chapters will vote for their respective director candidates in their chapter.
