The first all-ladies Prochem Specialist Basic Technician School was recently held in Englewood, Colo. at the Windsor Excellence Training Center.

This unique idea originated in a meeting with Angela Rojo, National Sales Director, Superior Cleaning Solutions, LLC, Lora Olson, Owner, Superior Cleaning Solutions, LLC and Tim Baker, Customer Business Manager - West, Prochem.

“Many of the women in this industry bring information and skills to the table that range from marketing to chemistry and accounting,” says Angela Rojo.

“Most of us have expressed the desire to learn more about the equipment side of operations but the opportunity to go to a learning environment that would train us adequately without a background in mechanics was not previously available. This whole idea started with the desire to have more knowledge, to offer more resources to our customers and to be a stronger team member in our business operations,” she said.

Attending this inaugural event were Dawn Henderson, General Manager, A&I Services, Inc.; Angela Rojo, National Sales Director, Superior Cleaning Solutions, LLC; Lora Olson, Owner, Superior Cleaning Solutions, LLC; Jessica Davis, Director of Operations, Routley Enterprises; Susan Deita, Customer Sales Rep, Chemical Solutions, Inc.; Karen Bestafka, Owner, Alan Janitorial Distributors, Inc.; Julia Nelson, Owner, Excel Supplies; Renee Brown, Sales, ProLine; Gordana Petrovic, Windsor Industries, and Elizabeth McKillip.

Prochem National Service & Training Manager Jerry McKillip was responsible “for teaching a bunch of ladies and answering a lot of questions!”
