Dow Emulsion Polymers has announced a new business approach.

“We’re known as such in every industry and market we touch. The business strategy has evolved to include industries outside of our traditional participation in the paper and flooring industries. Our business portfolio and the industries we serve are becoming global, and through growth and global participation we will show our commitment to evolving industry trends. For the flooring industry, our technologies look toward extending beyond carpet backing and into new applications like artificial turf. Further, with our Dow Reichold Specialty Latex (DRSL) joint venture, we will continue to serve performance latex to our customers with vinyl and composite floors, non-wovens, glove dipping, roofing shingles, concrete additives, tape saturation, and ceiling tiles. Needless to say, the breadth of our business clearly falls outside of paper and carpet,” the company said in a statement.
