At its 63rd Annual Convention and Exhibition in Grapevine, Texas, the Restoration Industry Association announced its officers for 2008.

Rusty Amarante, CR, of Belfor USA in Exton, Pa., will lead the association as RIA president. Jeff Jones, CRS, of Sani-Sheen System, Inc. in Oklahoma City, Okla., will serve as vice president. Frank Headen, CR, WLS, CMH, of First Restoration Services, Inc. in Charlotte, N.C. will serve as treasurer, and Leo Volkert, CR, WLS, of Primo Clean Restorative Services (Lodi, CA), will take over as secretary.

Also serving on the board of directors are Bill Lakin, CR, of Chem-Dry, Stafford, England; Ben Yanker, CR, WLS, CMH, of Buffalo Restoration, Bozeman, Mt.; Wade Miller, CR, of Mitigation Services, Inc., Brentwood, Tenn.; Michael Popowski of PBI Restoration Resources, Timonium, Md., and immediate past president Gary Dooner, CR, of Du All Service Contractors, Inc., Minneapolis, Minn.
