TAMPA, Fla.--For the 11th consecutive year, Professional Trade Shows (PTS) is hosting the Florida Buildings and Facilities Engineering Show and Conference (FBFE '02) May 22-23 at the Tampa Convention Center. The Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) is co-sponsoring the show and conference.
The Board of County Commissioners for Pinellas and Hillsborough counties declared that week to be "Manufacturing Appreciation Week," which kicks off with the BAMA Golf Tournament. Tournament proceeds go to BAMA's (www.bama-fl.org) scholarship program, which grants scholarships to qualified students.
Occupying more 15,000 square feet, hundreds of companies will be represented with millions of dollars worth of products and services including electrical systems and supplies, protective coatings and corrosion control, compressors/pumps, roofing and flooring, HVAC, asset management software, and energy management products. The trade show and conference are designed to provide a forum for local engineering professionals to explore the wide range of products and services available to keep their operations running efficiently.
Last year, hundreds of plant/facility engineers and maintenance professionals attended FBFE '01.
"The support and participation of BAMA this year will only strengthen this already successful show," said Terrence Grogan, PTS president. "We are now in our eleventh year in Tampa and with the economy and manufacturing in particular, beginning to improve, we are gearing up for an even stronger FBFE '02."
