Chuck Dewald remodels Emergency Hands-On Drying School.

Chuck Dewald recently redesigned his Emergency Hands-on Drying School in Morristown, Tenn.

Chuck Dewald, developer of the Vortex Drying System, recently remodeled his Emergency Hands-On School in Morristown, Tenn. to include stadium-like, sloping seats.

The school is a 900-square-foot, two-bedroom "flood house," which includes a furnished kitchen, bathroom and living room. The facility is flooded before each class. The house also includes a basement area with ductwork and insulation, various wall coverings, wood flooring, carpet and cabinets.

According to Dewald, the house was designed to assist in training students to completely dry any structure. More than 800 students have completed the flooding course.
