Eureka Announces New Partnership, New Product Line

BLOOMINGTON, Ill., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Eureka Company is teaming up with The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) in a campaign called Clean For The Cure. One dollar of the purchase price of every WhirlWind LiteSpeed goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation up to a $250,000 maximum.

Eureka also includes Breast Cancer Awareness cards in every LiteSpeed package. The cards offer helpful information consumers can use as a guide for breast self-examination.

Eureka is getting involved in other ways as well. Extensive advertising is letting consumers know about WhirlWind LiteSpeed products and the company partnership with the Komen Foundation. Eureka will participate in several different Komen Race for the Cure events in the United States and in a Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure event. In these cities, race participants may nominate one breast cancer patient they feel would benefit by receiving free home cleaning service for a year. The winner will also receive a new WhirlWind LiteSpeed vacuum. The drawing will be held 30 days after each race to select the winner from all the nominations received in that location.

Chief Operating Officer Cennert Steffen introduced the Clean For The Cure Campaign by saying, "Eureka has searched for a new partnership with an organization that touches the lives of our customers, employees and our families. Breast cancer has affected many of our co-workers, friends and family members. We can wear the pink ribbon with pride, knowing that the sale of the products we manufacture will generate money to raise awareness and fight this disease."
