BioShield sees 55 percent hike in East Coast distributor orders

BioShield Technologies, Inc. said that East Coast orders have increased by 55 percent, which it said is due to increased awareness and concern over protecting work environments from poor indoor air quality (IAQ).

ATLANTA -- BioShield Technologies, Inc. said that orders from East Coast distributor Tandem Technologies International have increased 55 percent, which both companies believe is due to increased awareness and concern over protecting work environments from poor indoor air quality (IAQ), also known as 'Sick Building Syndrome' (SBS).

SBS is a condition that can quickly develop in unprotected buildings. BioShield's patented chemical is the world's first residual antimicrobial agent. When sprayed on a surface, it kills and prevents the re-growth of salmonella, e-coli, strep bacteria and many others. It also destroys mold, mildew, viruses and fungi. It continues to disinfect for one month to three years, depending on the surface.

Tandem Technologies is a private label chemical manufacturer, which offers products and services in the industrial, hazardous material, building restoration, carpet care and automotive markets.
