Group names Franchisees of the Year

Modernistic Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and Koppang Franchise Development name Franchisees of the Year.

TROY, Mich. -- Modernistic Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and Koppang Franchise Development have announced that Jim Gatza and Doug Schuster have been named Co-Franchisees of the Year for the entire Modernistic network of franchisers.

Gatza is owner and president of the Modernistic franchise in Bay, Isabelle, Midland and Saginaw counties. Schuster is owner and president in Livingston and Genesee counties.

"Both Jim Gatza and Doug Schuster did an outstanding job in their first full year of business," said Vic Koppang, owner of Koppang Franchise Development. "Both did it through a lot of hard work and delivering the ultimate in carpet cleaning care for their residential and commercial customers alike. Both staffs intend to grow and expand their business by delivering the best service around."

Founded by Bob McDonald, Modernistic Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is a 30-year-old business located in Troy, Mich., with franchises throughout Lower Michigan. Modernistic offers flood damage and water restoration services, ceiling tile cleaning, commercial wall panels and drapery cleaning, in addition to the normal carpet and upholstery care.
