IICRC gives non-IICRC courses stamp of approval.

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) has approved several non-IICRC courses to fulfill the pre-requisites for the IICRC Senior Carpet Inspector certification.

In place of IICRC's Carpet Repair and Re-installation (RRT) course, students who have attained CFI Residential-1 status or CFI Journeyman status or who have completed CFI's Installation for Inspection course or FCICA's Floorcovering Installation Training (FIT) are eligible to take the IICRC Senior Carpet Inspector course.

The IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician course (CCT) is also a pre-requisite course for the certification. The week-long Senior Carpet Instructor course includes 50 to 60 hours of classroom study and written and practical examinations. For more information, call (360) 639-5675 or visit IICRC's Website at
