Re: Stan Hulin’s December 2000 ColumnI have been in the floor care maintenance field for some 29 years now and I wish to praise as much as I possibly can your recent article by Stanley Hulin in the December 2000 issue of ICS. In fact, I want to shout from the rooftops, “Thank you Mr. Hulin” for your praise of the hard floor care technician.
For the most part, the floor care technician is a very well trained individual in his field. In many instances this individual has spent the better part of their life learning the technical aspects of floor care so that their work will be noticed as the best work around. Yet, it’s very rare that either the client or the clients of the client notices this work, let alone pay a compliment or praise the work.
Again, it takes years for the technician to compile the necessary experience and this is done under extremely stressful and sweaty conditions.
Well anyway, thanks again Stanley Q. Hulin. Your monthly information in ICS will be missed!
