ServiceMagic, Inc., reported that it has now helped more than 3 million homeowners in the United States find a local home service professional.
In April, more than 156,000 consumer service requests were submitted at www.servicemagic.com, representing a 23 percent year-over-year increase, the company said. Top requests included maid service, landscaping and adding an addition to a home. More than 28 percent of ServiceMagic's traffic comes from repeat users or word of mouth, according to the company.
