Pro-Team will begin sizing its vacuum filter bags in square inches of filter media instead of in quarts, according to Rick Coombs, a company engineering director. The company believes that measuring a vacuum bag's size in square inches reveals more about capacity and filter life.
Filters with more filtration area enable operators to remove more soil before emptying or changing the bag, according to the company. The company's new double-pleated Intercept Micro filter bag provides 672 square inches of filtration area.
