Zep Inc. Appoints Two New Business Presidents

ATLANTA (May 28, 2008) – As part of its recently announced company reorganization, Zep Inc. has hired two industry leaders to serve as presidents of two of the company’s eight, newly formed market-facing businesses.

Robert L. Droke II will serve as president of Zep Central, with full general management responsibility for Zep’s presence in the Southwest and Central Plains.  He will be based in the company’s Dallas facility.

Lisa B. Malloy will serve as president of Zep Retail, with full general management responsibility for all of Zep’s retail business.  She will be based in the company’s Emerson, Ga. facility.

Before joining Zep, Droke was a vice president at Banner Commercial, a real estate advisory and consulting firm, where his responsibilities included marketing, networking and relationship-building as well as managing a wide variety of projects including capital investments in excess of $1 million.

Droke’s background also includes 10+ years as director of logistics for TAC, formerly CSI.  There, he used lean methodologies to increase production and reduce costs, while facilitating continuous improvement efforts that increased net income.

Before that, Droke spent seven years at Lithonia Lighting, in a variety of positions, including plant manager and director of operations.  He also worked at Texas Instruments Inc., where he lastly served as manufacturing manager of the Electro-Optics division.

Droke holds a bachelor’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.

Before joining Zep, Malloy served as senior global product merchant for The Home Depot’s $1.7 billion retail carpet and installation supplies business, where she had profit and loss responsibility, created the framework for future sales growth, and developed launch plans for three new product categories.  Malloy’s efforts resulted in gross profit growth and increased market share during a soft retail market period.

Malloy’s background also includes 16 years with DuPont, where she lastly served as senior vice president, Maintenance Services.  There, she led the turnaround of the company’s commercial maintenance and cleaning services business by developing a sales and marketing strategy that resulted in growth in local and national service contracts.

Malloy holds a bachelor of science degree and an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.
