Dri-Eaz recruits new account manager, product specialist

June 19, 2008 – Burlington, Wash. Tom Rochenski has just been named national account manager and product specialist for instruments and air movers for Dri-Eaz Products. He will be responsible for sales to Dri-Eaz distributors in the northeastern United States, and as a product specialist, he will also support sales throughout North America for air movers and moisture detection instruments.

Previously, Rochenski was a distribution manager for GE Sensing and was responsible for sales of the GE Protimeter line of moisture detection instruments that Dri-Eaz carries. Rochenski brings special expertise in the HygroTrac, a remote monitoring system developed in collaboration between GE Sensing and Dri-Eaz. Rochenski was involved throughout the product development process in bringing this product to market.

Rochenski looks forward to tackling his new responsibilities at Dri-Eaz. “I am excited about working for an industry-leading company with such a great team and a solid reputation in the marketplace,” he said.

He said his greatest challenge will be the current market, in which greater competition is being experienced by all product lines. Dri-Eaz makes his job easier, he said, because “the company is very proactive with new products and making training available to its customers.”

In early June, Rochenski travelled to Burlington to take part in the company’s Applied Structural Drying course, tour Dri-Eaz manufacturing facilities and to meet with key Dri-Eaz associates.
