K-Tech Charities distributes $25,000 worth of food

12/28/10, Weston, WI -­ On Sunday, December 19, 2010, K-tech Charities, Inc. with the help of K-tech employees, friends and family, distributed over ten tons or 400 plus food baskets to local families in need of a helping hand, as well as to The Salvation Army and The Neighbors’ Place.

The food baskets contained items such as ham, turkey, potatoes, cheese, sausage, canned vegetables, cereal, pancake mix and syrup, candy, nuts and fruit.  The food was purchased with help from Soik Sales, Okray Family Farms, Trig’s, Krueger Wholesale Florists, KW Transit, Fine Foliage of Florida, Northland Storage, Jay Bush of Bush Brothers Baked Beans, Peggy Olsen and K-tech vendors and friends. Marathon Tavern League helped sponsor approximately 80 children’s activity and toy bags for the baskets. K-tech employees have also been collecting non-perishable food items donated by customers throughout the months of November and December.

K-tech Charities, Inc., 501(c)3 a non-profit organization, was created by K-tech Kleening Systems, Inc. in 2006 to manage and distribute charitable donations. The Mission of K-tech Charities is, “To improve the quality of life of the children and families of the communities we serve who struggle with personal, professional, and financial challenges.” Throughout the year, K-tech Charities raises money for their annual Holiday baskets.
