An SCRT Update - August 2012

The Las Vegas Connections Convention and Trade Show is only about a month away, so do not forget that there is special pricing going right now. It’s $295 per person and SCRT has scholarship money available, but on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are a new member this year, you are eligible for a maximum of $100 scholarship. If you have been a member for more than one year, you are eligible for up to $300. That means that you could go to Connections for free!

Also don’t forget that if you are a member of the WFCA, they always have money available for almost anything involving IICRC credits or continuing education credits.

What an opportunity to go to the biggest industry event and save some money at the same time. This is also the 10th anniversary of Connections and there will be some really great things in store for all that make it there.

The Ohio Chapter of the SCRT held another successful meeting in Medina, OH recently. Those attending learned some tricks of the trade for social media marketing for the cleaning business and best practices for successful odor removal. All in attendance earned 0.5 IICRC CEC. Special thanks to the Medina Servpro for providing the hospitality and classroom.

The next Ohio SCRT Meeting will be held September 17th at Paul Davis Restoration in Baberton OH, and will include 0.5 IICRC CEC Credit. For more details or to RSVP, e-mail
