SCRT News Roundup: January 2013

In response to Hurricane Sandy, the SCRT Board of Directors sent $500 to the American Red Cross for the relief efforts. Our thoughts and prayers go to the families affected by the hurricane.

SCRT is pleased to announce a new Florida Chapter. Terrance Schabilion of Triad Restoration Services has volunteered to be the Chapter President and will be hosting an event soon. If you are interested in being involved, please e-mail him at or call him at 407-442-2794.

The SCRT Board of Directors met on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Memphis, TN for the Board of Directors Meeting. Thanks to ServiceMaster Clean and Pete Duncanson for providing a place for us to meet.

We are excited about the new consumer website, that the ICRA is hosting. ICRA continues to provide more benefits for our members. ICRA is currently working on completion of a new general liability and pollution insurance program for the industry, which is expected to be announced soon.
