Chemspec Hires Director of Product Development

Chemspec intends to develop enhanced analytical lab capabilities and to build an efficacy testing lab

Chemspec, which just celebrated its 45 year anniversary, has hired Sean Eubanks to be the company’s Director of Product Development, according to a press release.

Eubanks is responsible for developing and producing industry-leading specialty chemical technologies for the professional carpet and hard surface flooring and upholstery care and maintenance industries. He will direct research and development, product formulation, and efficacy and performance testing.

Eubanks has over 15 years of experience in laboratory management, formulation, research and development, and quality control. He also operated his own truckmount carpet cleaning business and developed a line of allergen removal cleaners for carpets and hard surfaces. Most recently, Eubanks was Research Scientist with Clean Control Corporation as well as Assistant Professor at Georgia Military College in Warner Robins, Ga., where he taught biology, microbiology and environmental science.

Eubanks has an MS in Applied Biology and a BS in Molecular Biology and Industrial Microbiology, both from Georgia Tech.

Chemspec intends to develop enhanced analytical lab capabilities and to build an efficacy testing lab. It is expected that these facilities will boost the development of chemical products for all Legend Brands companies.
