The IICRC recently purchased a 20,000 square foot office warehouse in Las Vegas, conveniently located between the Las Vegas strip and McCarran International Airport to be used as its new Global Resource Center. With the goal of enhancing the educational resources and outreach efforts of the Institute, the new property will become an activity hub for everything related to the industry. In addition to possibly providing the International Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Council of Associations (IICRCA) constituents with a location to meet and learn, it could also offer space to develop a document library, museum, commercial kitchen, conference area, learning center, research lab and more.
Once the IICRC Board of Directors makes final decisions on the property’s use, renovations will begin immediately to prepare it for a grand opening celebration next January 2014 in conjunction with the Surfaces show.
“This is an exciting time to be involved with the IICRC and IICRCA,” said IICRCA Chairman of the Executive Committee Tony Wheelwright. “Whether you are a supplier manufacturer in Dalton, Georgia, or a franchisor in Melbourne, Australia, we want this facility to become a premiere resource for all of our constituents.”
