iicrc logoAs Dwight D. Eisenhower once said, “Plans are nothing; planning is everything.” The IICRC is starting to see many dividends from its long-term planning, including the recent opening of its Global Resource Center in Las Vegas. We thank everyone who took the time to celebrate with us! In addition to collecting items for the industry museum, we are now identifying additional ways the building will be used and will begin making the necessary changes to the building so it can become a true resource for the industry.

The IICRC’s new peer-reviewed technical journal will also soon debut. Expected to be a great new source for technical content, The Journal of Cleaning, Restoration & Inspection will publish six times a year and focus on the four disciplines represented by the IICRC: hard surface cleaning, textile cleaning, disaster restoration/remediation and inspection. Print copies will be mailed free to Certified Firms, master cleaners, master restorers, inspectors, and IICRC schools and instructors. In addition, all current IICRC registrants will have free online access to The Journal.
