- THE MAGAZINE
After 38 years in business, Steve and Vickie Kaufman are retiring from Pro Line, according to a press release. But the company is stronger than it has ever been and will continue under the command of Noel Saenz.
Here are some parting words from the Kaufmans:
“We currently have the highest qualified staff we have ever had in the history of the company. Any of our vendors, manufactures will confirm that, and we are extremely proud of the high quality of service we bring to our customers.
Thirty eight years ago, steam cleaning was a hard sell. That was our first obstacle to overcome and was followed by many others such as on-location water damage restoration and carpet dyeing along with area rug cleaning and special deodorizing techniques and most recently hard surface maintenance and restoration techniques. Our success should be attributed to our constant offering of educational programs to ensure our clients had all the tools to be the best they could be. We have many mentors who helped us along the way and could not possibly thank them all in this notice.
The Carpet and Fabric Care Institute (of which Steve is currently the president) has also played a major role in the success of Pro Line. This association in all its history has been a vehicle to align professional carpet cleaners to an honest and profitable career by sharing the tools of success.”
The Kaufman’s would like to leave you with the following thoughts. “We are in the service industry. Service is generally supplied face-to-face. Person-to-person. It cannot be performed electronically. At least not yet. We leave behind our most valuable assets. Our relationships, our friends, our customers.”
