The Inland-Empire Chapter held its Annual Give Back Event at the Ronald McDonald House in Loma Linda, CA on Jan 25th. Chapter Director of the year Terry Jones and CFI members volunteered their services to clean all the furniture and carpet at the house. Terry says it is always nice to give back to those who give so much to the sick children at the Ronald McDonald House.

We saw many of you at the ICE Expo, from January 30-31 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. Thanks to all of you who stopped by Booth 626.

The annual CFI Royalty Mill Tour will be on March 11, 2014 in Santa Ana, CA. The event is open to all CFI members and non-members. Technical Director Jim Hernandez will take everyone on an exclusive tour of the carpet mill. You can come see the whole process of the manufacturing of carpet from the raw yarn, dyeing process, tufting, construction and protection to the final inspection of the carpet. It is very interesting to see the whole process of carpet being made and can help you understand the problems you see in your customer’s carpet every day. Space is limited so sign up early!
