On January 21, 2014 the Orange Co/Inland Empire Chapter had a meeting at Expert Carpet Care’s new rug plant in Bellflower, CA. CFI past President Eric Bowman was the guest speaker. The topic of the night was about rug cleaning, rug inspection, fiber identification and construction. The CFI would like to thank Expert’s owner Jim Tanis, plant manager Brian Peters and all their employees for hosting the meeting.

On January CFI held one of its several “Give Back” events at the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. CFI Director Terrance Jones, Asst. Director Debbie Penny and other CFI members came and cleaned all the furniture and area rugs at the house at no cost. Thank you to all that came and helped out.

Other upcoming events include a Royalty Carpet Mill tour on March 11, our CFI Central Coast Chapter Meeting on March 19 and the CFI Orange County, Inland Empire and Los Angeles Chapter Meetings on April 3. For more information, visit
