DALLAS -- Airtech International Group, Inc., hired a new executive vice president for its Marketing, Sales and National Distribution efforts.

DALLAS -- Airtech International Group, Inc., (OTCBB:AIRG) hired R. Kirk Garfield as executive vice president for its Marketing, Sales and National Distribution efforts.

Garfield is a 23-year senior executive from the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) sector. He formerly was formerly with Lennox Industries, Inc., Snyder General and Frymire Engineering, Inc.

"I've observed Airtech's growth in the last year and have been very impressed with their commitment to the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry as well as their recent technological product break-through with Photo Catalytic Oxidation (PCO)," Garfield said. "I feel that the company is on the verge of an explosion in the IAQ sector, which leads me to believe that we are about to enter a very aggressive sellers market."

Airtech said Garfield's focus would be on national HVAC dealers and the engineering community to facilitate IAQ solutions for light commercial applications and school districts.

Joining, Garfield, are Airtech's new HVAC sales executives, Darrell Moore and Jason O'Neil who will be working with Airtech's Jason Harris and George Clouden, as the four National Account Managers, focused on new distribution for the Airtech IAQ product line.
