Armstrong launches refocused Web site

Armstrong has refurbished its Internet Web site to refocus its message: With Armstrong, "Your ideas become reality."

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Armstrong (NYSE:ACK) has refurbished its Internet Web site to refocus its message: With Armstrong, "Your ideas become reality."

According to Jesse Engle, Armstrong eBusiness manger, the redesign of www.Armstrong.com was needed "to better reflect the company's strong brand image and make the site easier for visitors to navigate."

Armstrong.com is now easier to understand and to use. It allows customers to find the information they need quickly to make well-informed decisions. The new Web site is also designed to make Armstrong more accessible and easy to do business with. Ideas for the Web site redesign came from feedback collected from users in a variety of ways, including usability studies, opinion ratings and direct comments sent via email.

"Our customers are going to find a lot of creative inspiration in the new 'Showroom,' which features professionally designed, completed rooms scenes," Engle said. "It is a great complement to our popular Design-a-Room feature."

Design-a-Room is a tool that features a broad range of Armstrong products designed to help consumers make a personal statement in their living space.
