The Mechanical Systems Hygiene Institute, part of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration, will host a two-day residential air-duct cleaning course in Houston, April 22-23. The hands-on course will be conducted by Byron Ware, CMH, and will take place in a fully equipped training facility.
The National Institute of Disaster Restoration and The Water Loss Institute, two other affiliates of the ASCR, will conduct three-day certified restoration technician courses March 31-April 2 and May 19-21 in Pittsburgh. The courses will be conducted by Cliff Zlotnik, CR, CMH, WLS, who will cover fire, water and smoke damage.
The Water Loss Institute will also be presenting a water loss specialist school in Atlanta, May 3-8. The school will address a wide range of topics, including building science and construction, drying and restoring wood floors, and safety and legal issues.
