ASCR recognizes outstanding individuals, companies

At its recent convention in Palm Springs, Calif., the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration International presented a number of awards to companies and individuals alike.

Placentia, Calif.-based BELFOR USA was presented the coveted Phoenix Award for Restoration. Renotex Corp. of New York was recognized with the Steven M. Spivak Award for distinguished contributions to the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry. And the Helen Bradley Distinguished Service Award was bestowed upon Walt Legenstein of Certified Carpet in Lancaster, Penn., for his outstanding contributions to the industry over the past two decades.
