ASCR Reschedules its State of the Art Conference

The Association of Specialists in Cleaning & Restoration's State of the Art conference, a multi-day, cutting-edge seminar addressing today's insurance, environmental and restoration issues, will take place May 2-5.

MILLERSVILLE, Md.--The Association of Specialists in Cleaning & Restoration's (ASCR) State of the Art conference, a multi-day, cutting-edge seminar addressing today's insurance, environmental and restoration issues, will take place May 2-5. The conference, postponed following the events of Sept. 11, will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago, Ill.

Sponsored by ASCR's National Institute of Disaster Restoration (NIDR), the conference will target insurance professionals, and restoration and damage repair contractors. It also features an exhibition of vendors showing the current products and services available for these specialties.

The educational programs will be held May 3-5, culminating in an in-depth panel discussion of the lessons learned from the clean-up efforts following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11. There will also be a salute to the many restoration contractors and volunteers who worked on the projects in Washington, D.C., and New York.
