MoreMILLERSVILLE, Md.--The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) has announced that its technical manager, Jody Sasthav, Ph.D., MBA, will also be assuming responsibility for the overall design and coordination of the curricula developed by the ASCR Foundation for its five institutes.
As the "Instructional Systems Designer," Dr. Sasthav will assist the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Institute (CUCI), Mechanical Systems Hygiene Institute (MSHI), National Institute of Disaster Repair (NIDR), National Institute of Rug Cleaning (NIRC) and the Water Loss Institute (WLI) in the curriculum design, testing and evaluation, and certification aspects of the courses offered by these institutes.
She brings significant experience from teaching at the college level, as well as her technical expertise to the position.
"Dr. Sasthav is exceptionally well suited for these new responsibilities," said ASCR Executive Director Larry Jacobson. "She is also an expert in several technical fields that directly impact the content of many of these programs."
