Atlas Carpet Cleaning commits to raise money for Make-A-Wish

ST. GEORGE - Atlas Carpet Cleaning, Inc. wants to give something back to its community, but it need the help of 100 volunteers to do so.

Atlas Carpet Cleaning owners, Jason and Autumn Baker, recently revealed their plans to promote Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah, raising $2,500 by Dec. 24.

"We simply feel it's the right thing to do at the right time," said Autumn. "It's our version of 'Pay It Forward,'" she added. "But we need 100 families to succeed."

The Bakers' plan is simple. In order to raise $2,500 by the target date, Atlas Carpet Cleaning us looking for 100 volunteers to support the Foundation. Each person who gives Atlas Carpet Cleaning a $25 check made out to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah will receive one room, up to 150 square feet, of free carpet cleaning. If you would like to help, but don't need your carpets cleaned right now, Atlas Carpet Cleaning also offers Gift Certificates for future use.

"The value of this free cleaning is more than $50, so it's a win-win for everyone," said Autumn. "We give the homeowner $50 of free professional services and they in turn give a child with a life-threatening medical condition a chance to realize their most heartfelt wish."

This offer is limited to residential homeowners living in St. George and surrounding Southern Utah area.

The Bakers' goal is to motivate other service companies to also give back to the community by following Atlas Carpet Cleaning's lead. In order to schedule an appointment, call Jason Baker at 862-9553.
