Bab-Tex Carpet One Floor & Home to hold event

SEARCY, Ark. – (April 17, 2008) -- Bab-Tex Carpet One Floor & Home will join other Carpet One Floor & Home stores across North America striving to make an impact in their local communities by participating in the first annual National Green Select Day. Bab-Tex Carpet One Floor & Home will cleaning up abandoned houses in the city and working on the ball fields on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone in the Searcy community is invited to volunteer and join in.

National Green Select Day is an effort across North America to build local community pride while making the environment cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful. By volunteering and taking the National Green Select Day pledge, community members will take part in making Searcy a better place to live, work and play.

All volunteers who pledge at Bab-Tex Carpet One Floor & Home to make a difference on National Green Select Day will receive a National Green Select Day pin, pledge card with a discount on select earth-friendly flooring products, and a National Green Select Day tee shirt.

“We define going green as our community coming together to make environmentally responsible decisions,” says Lamar Babb of Bab-Tex Carpet One Floor & Home. “We invite the local community to join us, take the National Green Select Day pledge, and unite in helping make Searcy an even better place to live!”
