Bio-technology Feasts on Concrete Stains

Novozymes Biologicals has developed a strain of a bacterium that can degrade or eat polyaromatic petroleum hydrocarbons, a strain that various manufacturers are incorporating in concrete-cleaning products.

"This technology - built on a "green platform" - is truly remarkable and sets the bar for future products in the concrete cleaning market," Lois Davis, marketing manager for Novozymes Biologicals, said.
