PRESCOTT, AZ - In a joint announcement, Mark Loftin, President, BLUEline Equipment Co., Thom Fielding, Executive Vice President, BLUEline Equipment Co., and Shawn York, President, Vortex Cleaning Systems, confirmed the acquisition of the Vortex name brand, patents, all manufacturing, sales and rights to promote the brand throughout the BLUEline Dealer Network.

"BLUEline Equipment Co. has always been considered a top of the line manufacturer of carpet and floor cleaning equipment, and this acquisition obviously contributes to our mission," said Fielding. "We have had many requests from dealers and end users to develop a direct drive model, and if we decided to enter that channel, it would be with equipment that is superior to what is available in the marketplace. This acquisition confirms that position," he added.

York stated, "I visited virtually every major manufacturer of cleaning equipment in the industry, and realized that BLUEline Equipment Co. is the company of choice with respect to innovation, manufacturing and overall vision for the future of the cleaning industry. They made an otherwise very difficult decision very easy," he added.

York will join forces with BLUEline Equipment Co. as Manager of Sales and Marketing, Vortex Division, and will also continue in his role of product design & development. Vortex will keep its current identity and continue as a BLUEline Equipment Company.
