BLUEline looks to soften water's impact



BLUEline Equipment Co. is introducing a water softener intended to help protect truckmounts by preventing hard-water scale.

Hard-water scale can form on internal parts and plumbing, which can damage the unit as well as decrease its life and performance. Conditioned water also decreases the amount of chemicals needed, the company says. BLUEline's water softener removes both calcium and magnesium from the water and replaces them with sodium. The mounting brackets come in traditional BLUEline blue.
