Aurora, Colo., September 30, 2009 – Bona US, the North American subsidiary of Bona AB in Sweden and a world leader in hardwood floor finishing and floor care, today announced the promotion of Matt Casey as the new Territory Manager in the Chicago region.

Casey will play a vital role in developing and maintaining contractor partnerships and increasing new business in the professional arena. Working closely with industry professionals and key departments at Bona, Casey will be responsible for training and educating contractors and distributors, performing jobsite demonstrations and executing sales.

“Matt will be a great addition to the Bona outside sales team,” said Tom McNeil, Director of Distribution Sales, Bona US. “He brings extensive sales experience, along with a technical and training background and a breadth of business knowledge that will greatly benefit our customers.”

Casey started his career with Bona four years ago as an Account Services Representative, maintaining distributor accounts as the inside contact coast to coast. In 2007, he moved into the Technical and Training Department where he facilitated classroom and hands-on training and demonstrations, tech support for contractors, distributors and homeowners, as well as product testing and development.

Casey graduated from Colorado State University in 2004 with a Business Administration Degree and an emphasis in Marketing and Management.
