Bonakemi USA appoints new managing director

Aurora, CO – April 21, 2008: BonaKemi USA, the North American subsidiary of BonaKemi AB in Sweden and a leader in hardwood floor finishing and floor care, announced John Rauvola has been appointed to the role of managing director of BonaKemi USA, Inc.

Rauvola will continue to be responsible for sales and marketing in North America and retain an active role within the global management team. His proven record of accomplishments over the past 20 years will help manage Bona’s continual growth and ensure the quality of Bona products and services.

Rauvola will continue to lead Bona’s US Executive Management Team, operating in a global and strategic fashion to enhance communications, operating efficiencies and align cost structures. The team consists of Kirk Roberts, vice president of product management and marketing and product division manager of floor care – global; Paul England, vice president of operations; Brad Stone, CFO and vice president of finance and Erin Wright, vice president of human resources.

“Since John joined BonaKemi in May of 2007, he has enhanced the strategic direction, process and communication within sales, marketing and product management departments,” said Kerstin Lindell, President and CEO of Bona. “He has also refined the corporate culture through his strong leadership style, sense of involvement and emphasis on performance and accountability.”

Rauvola came to BonaKemi from Pearl Izumi/Nautilus, a fitness equipment and apparel manufacturer in Broomfield, Colo., with significant knowledge and extensive experience in sales, marketing, product development and operations.

Previously, Rauvola spent 15 years with K2 Corporation in Seattle, Washington, involved in product and process controls, marketing and product management, and finally as vice president and general manager of international operations. He was an integral part of the executive team that helped K2 become a global leader in the sporting goods industry.
