More"Go For The Gold," a play on the upcoming Winter Olympics, set the tone for the more than 30 distributor companies from across the United States, as well as one from Great Britain, in attendance at the Bridgepoint 2001 Dealer Conference in Park City, Utah, June 27-30.
The event showcased new products, customer service improvements and educational opportunities available to Bridgepoint customers.
The Fast Track Training System of education was introduced to distributors. The program is designed to allow technicians to learn a cleaning system, including cleaning basics, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and spot and stain removal in a single eight-hour session. Although the classes are specifically designed with the use of Bridgepoint products, IICRC credits can be earned by taking these courses. There is no test or IICRC certification involved.
Two new product introductions, the Turbo and the Gekko, showcased Bridgepoint's advance into hard floor care tools, providing more opportunities for cleaning professionals to meet the increasing demand for these services. The Water Claw water extraction and spotting tools, available exclusively through Bridgepoint distributors, were also emphasized as successful additions to the company's product line.
The conference was highlighted by an evening awards banquet.
