Bridgepoint hosts annual Bridging the Gap conference

Bridgepoint Systems, in cooperation with Howard Partridge, sponsored its annual Bridging the Gap conference at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, Feb. 4-7.

The four-day conference attracted 67 professional carpet cleaners from across the country wanting to learn business techniques that had proven effective specifically for the carpet cleaning industry. Subjects covered included implementation; business growth and diversification; marketing and advertising; personnel training and management and more.

"There's a level of professionalism here that I can't find anywhere else," Ed Reynolds, owner of Academy Services in Denver, said. "I don't have any formal business training, but in these last few days I've felt like I've had a full semester of business education."

The next Bridging the Gap conference is tentatively planned for February 2005 in Anaheim, Calif.
