Hydrocide and Bio-Modifier from Bridgepoint Systems are odor-controlling chemicals that work in very different ways. Hydrocide “works immediately to neutralize odor on contact, no matter what the source,” while Bio-Modifier uses “the highest level of odor-killing bacteria possible to create multiple enzymes to destroy the source of the odor.”

In extreme situations, treat the area first with Hydrocide and, if odor-source residue remains, treat with Bio-Modifier, the company said.
