The Arizona CFI Chapter held its first chapter meeting of 2005 at Interlink Supply in Tempe, Ariz. The featured speaker was John Ostero, the general manager for the two Interlink stores in the Valley.

Ostero talked about how to increase sales, referral programs and getting the most out of your day-to-day scheduling. He also performed a soil-analysis test, which impressed everyone. This is sure to be used by those present in their sales presentations in the future.

The meeting was high energy, with 15 people in attendance, along with three people from Interlink Supply, and Mike Perras, the executive director of CFI.

At the break, Arizona Carpet & Restoration spotlighted their van. Everyone in attendance was very impressed with what Domini DeFazio had done to a working truck that is out in the field every day.

The Arizona CFI Chapter's April 12 meeting at C&E Services covered the Water Out Drying System, a new system for indoor air quality, and a "spotlight" van. One state to the west, the San Diego chapter performed a charity cleaning of six homes for Habitat for Humanity on April 9, with Bridgepoint Systems donating cleaning supplies for the event. The San Diego chapter's May 12 meeting will feature Howard Partridge as guest speaker. As always, check for the most current chapter events at
