CFI Fall Education Slate

The IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is set for September 15-17 in Whittier, Calif. with instructor Mike West. The course presents all the basic concepts and systems of the restoration process. The material is presented in a generic format with lecture, audio-visual and hands-on instruction.

The IICRC Color Repair Technician (CRT) course on Sept. 27-28 in Laguna Hills will be led by James (Jim) B. Smith of JBS Consultants. Jim covers the subject with illustrations and demonstrations that unlock the student’s understanding. The course fee is $349. For CFI, CCINW and DKI members, the fee is discounted to $299. The IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) course on Nov. 9-12 in Laguna Hills, with instructor Peter Sierck, is a 4-day mold and sewage remediation course. The course addresses guidelines and industry standards, containment types and set-ups, pressure differentials, demolition and cleaning procedures, microbiology, personal protection equipment and sampling methods.

The fee is $995; CFI, CCINW and DKI members are discounted to $895. To register call 800-CARPET-9 (800-227-7389).

The IICRC Health and Safety Technician (HST) course, led by Peter Sierck, will be held Nov. 17-18 in Laguna Hills. This 2-day course provides an overview on OSHA regulations and specifically geared towards the cleaning, restoration, microbial remediation and building industries. This course is a requirement to achieve the IICRC Master status and the AMRT certification, and also qualifies for continuing education credits with the IICRC. The IICRC Leather Cleaning Technician (LCT) course in Laguna Hills will be held Dec. 7-8, with a free Leather Care Tool Box worth over $300 going to the first 10 full paid registrants! Led by Lonnie McDonald, the course is designed to equip the student to actually clean leather in a hands-on setting as well as having the ability to identify what issues to walk away from!

The class fee is $349.00. CFI and LMCCA members will be discounted to $299. To register call CFI at 800-CARPET-9 (800-227-7389).
