The Carpet and Fabricare Institute held its Education Day April 27 at the Anaheim, Calif. headquarters of the World Floor Covering Association.

The program included a wide variety of educational topics, including:
Diversifying Into Hard Surface Cleaning; Opportunities and Risks Revealed. Hands-on demonstrations and class-room instruction of Tile, Stone, Grout cleaning and sealing systems as well as hardwood floor cleaning and restoration opportunities. Presented by Bridgepoint Systems, Prochem and Chemspec's Rx for Wood Floors.
Small Carpet Repairs Offer a Big Profit Opportunity. Get down on the carpet to get your hands dirty. Mike Perras showed attendees how to spot easy repair opportunities, fix them and add to their job ticket.
