Los Angeles Chapter Director Vince Attardo reports that the recent meeting at Fibermark in Santa Monica went very well. Vince will be covering ancillary profit centers cleaners can add to their businesses, and will give a hands-on demonstration on air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and mattress cleaning and encasings. Orange/Inland Empire Chapter Director Graham Bedwell and Assistant Director Jason Hensley held a recent meeting at CFI Past President Eric Bollman’s facility Haines & Cross in Laguna Niguel. Beacon Carpet Cleaning sponsored the soft drinks and Starbucks coffee, and Janitorial & Vacuum Supply Co. sponsored some fine Mexican food.

Arizona Chapter Director Norma McCormick says the holidays brought work for all the carpet firms in Arizona. For the holidays, Norma led the Arizona Chapter in helping the local Rotary Club by donating their time to wash vans and clean wheelchairs at Hacienda Healthcare. April will see the CFI Spring Training Session “Taking a Swing at Social Media!!” set to be held in Scottsdale. This is an event to experience. Watch for further information.

Northern California Chapter Director Matt Cole thanks everyone who attended the meeting held at Proline in Sacramento. Don Snyder from CTI gave a great presentation on marketing and advertising. He also gave special tips on spotting and urine decontamination. Jessika James from Proline treated everyone to a great Chinese dinner and CTI provided door prizes.
