Throughout the State Fair, volunteers from 22 ag-related
groups and companies helped build a Habitat for Humanity House on the
fairgrounds. On Friday the house was completed and the keys turned over the new
owner.
In the next few weeks, the house will be moved to its permanent location on Bellefontaine Street in Indianapolis, but the contribution of Indiana agriculture will remain with the home. That is because corn-based carpet was installed in the 5 bedroom residence. From HoosierAgToday.com.
