A
private company cleaning county buildings is under fire for its performance. Members
of the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday warned Diamond Shine, a Cedar
Rapids-based firm, that its
three-year contract to clean the courthouse, jail and other county buildings
could be in jeopardy.
"I think you can take this that we're putting you on notice," said Supervisor Frank Magsamen, clutching two pages of complaints from county officials. "If we don't see significant improvement in the next 30 days we will re-evaluate your contract." From the WCF Courier.
