NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Management for Coverings 2002 last week announced the appointment of Joan Spector as Marketing and Media Consultant to the giant international trade exposition for the ceramic tile, stone and floor covering industries.

Spector is president of Coral Gables, Fla.-based Joan Spector Public Relations Inc. She has been associated in various public relations and publicity capacities with the tile and stone industry for more than 15 years.

As Marketing and Media Consultant to Coverings, which was co-sponsored by the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) for the first time in 2001. She will work with Nicole DeDominicis-McBride, the show's Press Relations director.

Coverings 2002 is slated for May 6-9 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
