The Cleaning and Restoration Association is a nonprofit organization consisting of cleaning and restoration firms from the western United States. The CRA creates venues to advance the knowledge and professionalism of the cleaning and restoration industry by offering discounted prices on training programs and events; outreach programs; referral services; technical bulletins; and more.

CRA has continued to grow since reaching its milestone of 100 participating companies; plans for continued growth of the association include implementing a new membership services program, establishing several new industry partnerships, and expanding its educational training program.

CRA courses offered in August include:

• August 11-13: IICRC Water Restoration Technician at Abatix Corporation
• August 19: IICRC Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician at Restoration Consultants
• August 24-27: IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician at Restoration Consultants

CRA offers exclusive discounts to members on these and many other courses. Register at least 14 days in advance to receive discounts of up to $200 off of regular registration prices.

In addition to course discounts, CRA members also receive a $100 discount on Connections Convention and Conference registration, thanks to an agreement with Connections Events, Inc. The 2010 Connections Convention will be held at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, Sept. 29-Oct. 1.
