A Carpet and Rug Institute meeting held recently featured a program devoted to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and carpet. As a result of the discussions held by the CRI board, the institute set a budget of $640,000 to fund studies that will provide the necessary data to fight IAQ allegations against carpet in a four-phase project, which includes a study on drying times and moisture concerns.
